Tosa Rector

The some time random but (mostly) theological offerings of a chatty preacher learning to use his words in a different medium.

At it again...

Well, all of my big plans to be a disciplined blogger through the summer, went, to use a biblical phrase, "the way of all flesh". But the good news is all it takes to get started again is signing on and typing away. The other good news is I could still remember my password!

There's an old, over-used quip that says, "Episcopalians are the only Christians God trusts enough to give the summers off." And while that may be true in some areas of the Church, here at Trinity, the summer simply blazed by -- Vacation Bible School, Parish Picnic, Rummage Sale, Theology Un-Corked, Compline for Dessert -- along with the usual round of liturgies each week. And now, the new Program Year is upon us! It seems like only yesterday we were saying "Happy New Year" and now two-thirds of 2009 is behind us.

I'm sure I will have more to say (and more frequently say it!) in the days/weeks ahead. For now, I thought it would be a good thing simply to post something and let you know that TosaRector is back. So long, summer. Hello Program Year!
